Know which channel is worth your time.

A written strategy that says which channels earn a budget, how they support each other, and how you will know it is working, before a single pound is spent.

  • Your analytics and ad accounts stay in your name
  • A written plan before any channel gets a budget
  • Monthly reporting in plain English, not a dashboard dump
  • No lock-in period on any engagement

Let's Get Started

Send us what you are doing now and we will tell you what we would change first.

Orion: Website Review Request

No obligation, just a friendly chat about your marketing.

Where this fits

Activity is not a strategy.

A busy calendar of posts, ads and emails means nothing if nobody can say which of them produced an enquiry. We build the plan and the measurement together, so the two never come apart.

What the work covers

The parts of the strategy we look after.

Not every business needs all of these. After the review you will know which ones apply to you, and in what order they are worth doing.

  1. Marketing audit

A review of everything you are currently doing, including the parts that quietly are not working, and why.

  2. Channel strategy

A written recommendation on which channels are worth your budget right now, and which to leave alone for now.

  3. Competitor research

What the businesses you actually compete with are doing, and where that leaves a gap you can take.

  4. Funnels and landing pages

A page built for each offer, with one clear next step, instead of sending every click to your homepage.

  5. Email marketing and automation

Sequences for the people who were not ready to buy yet, so an enquiry does not end the conversation.

  6. Analytics and attribution

Tracking configured properly in your own accounts, so an enquiry can be traced back to the channel that produced it.

  7. Campaign planning and calendars

A twelve-week view of what runs and when, so the work is planned rather than reactive.

  8. Coordinating specialist channels

Making sure your SEO, ads, content and social work are pointed the same direction instead of competing for attention.

  9. Measurement and reporting

A monthly written summary of what ran, what it cost and what it produced, in plain English.

The questions

What business owners usually ask us about marketing.

If one of these is on your mind, the answer is usually a clearer plan rather than more activity.

  1. We are doing a bit of everything. Should we be?

    What we do

Usually not. We review what is currently running, stop what is not earning its place, and put the remaining budget behind two or three channels done properly.

  2. Which of our channels is actually producing enquiries?

    What we do

We set up analytics and attribution in your own accounts, so every enquiry can be traced back to the channel that produced it.

  3. How do we turn activity into an actual plan?

    What we do

We write the strategy first and turn it into a twelve-week calendar, so the next quarter is visible before it starts.

  4. Our enquiries have slowed. Where do we look first?

    What we do

We check the journey end to end, from the ad or search result through to the form, because the drop-off is usually somewhere in the middle.

  5. How will we know what the work produced?

    What we do

One report a month, in plain English: what ran, what it cost, what it produced. Every account stays in your name, so you can check it yourself.

Not sure what your website needs?

Send it over and we'll tell you, honestly, what we'd improve first.

What you end up with

What you are left with when the work is done.

  1. A written strategy

A clear document setting out which channels are worth your budget, in what order, and why. Yours to keep.

  2. A funnel that holds

Landing pages and email sequences that carry an enquiry through instead of losing it at the first drop-off.

  3. Numbers you can trust

Analytics and attribution set up in your own accounts, so any figure we report can be checked without asking us for it.

How we work

A straightforward way to work together.

You will always know what we are working on, why it comes first and what the last piece of work produced.

  1. 01

    Understand

We learn about your business, your customers, your website and the marketing you are doing today, so that any advice we give is grounded in your situation rather than a template.

  2. 02

    Prioritise

We identify the opportunities that make the most sense for your goals and your budget, and set them out in order, so you can see what we would do first and why.

  3. 03

    Do the Work

We handle the agreed work, whether that is SEO, advertising, content, your website or a combination of them, and keep you updated as it goes rather than only at the end.

  4. 04

    Improve

We measure what the work produced and report it plainly, then refine the plan around it. Your budget and our time go to the channels earning their place.

Getting started

Three ways to begin.

Each of them starts with the same free review, so you can decide with the findings already in front of you.

  • A marketing audit

A full review of what you are currently doing across every channel, delivered as a written document with a prioritised list of changes. Yours to keep, and to hand to anyone you like.

    • A review of every channel you currently use
    • Competitor and audience research
    • A prioritised action list you can act on alone
    Request the audit
  • Ongoing strategy and management

The audit, then the plan carried out month after month, coordinating whichever specialist channels are involved. Scope agreed in advance and reported at the end of it. No lock-in period at any point.

    • A twelve-week calendar, kept current
    • Monthly written reporting in plain English
    • Direct access to the person doing the work
    Start a conversation
  • A single project

A defined piece of work such as a funnel build, an email automation setup or an attribution fix. A fixed scope, a start and a finish, quoted in writing before anything begins.

    • Landing page or funnel builds
    • Email automation set up from scratch
    • Fixed scope, agreed in writing up front
    Tell us about the project

Why Orion

What you can expect from us.

  1. Advice

    Practical recommendations

We won't recommend something simply because it's another service we can sell. If a smaller piece of work would get you further, that is what we'll suggest.

  2. Communication

    Clear communication

You should always know what we're working on and why. You'll hear from the people doing the work, in language that doesn't need translating.

  3. Budget

    Work that fits your budget

Small businesses don't have unlimited marketing budgets. We plan around what you can realistically invest, and say so when something isn't worth the spend yet.

  4. Simplicity

    No unnecessary complexity

Good marketing can be complicated behind the scenes. It doesn't need to be complicated for you, and we'll keep the reporting and the decisions simple to follow.

In depth

A longer answer, if you want one

SEO, ads, content and social each have their own specialists, and each will tell you their channel deserves the budget. Digital marketing is the work of deciding that question honestly, before any of it is spent. It starts with what your customers actually do: how they search, where they scroll, what makes them trust a business enough to contact it. The channel mix follows from that, not from a list of services an agency happens to sell.

For most small and mid-sized businesses the honest answer is two or three channels, run properly, not six run thinly. We would rather tell you to hold off on social advertising for six months than take the budget and produce activity you cannot connect to a result.
