Content Marketing
Say what you do clearly, and often enough to matter.
We plan, write and publish the pages, articles and emails that explain your business properly, on a schedule you can actually keep, aimed at the topics that bring people closer to contacting you.
- Every draft is edited by a person before it goes out
- A written editorial calendar, not a vague promise to blog more
- We track which pieces actually produce enquiries
- No lock-in period on any engagement
Let's Get Started
Send us your website and we will tell you what we would write first.
No obligation, just a friendly chat about your marketing.
Where this fits
Words are not decoration. They are the sales conversation you are not in the room for.
Every page on your site is doing the job a salesperson would do if they were standing next to your visitor. We write it that way: answering the actual question, then giving one clear next step, rather than filling space around a heading.

What the work covers
The parts of content marketing we look after.
Not every business needs all of these. After the review you will know which ones yours needs, and in what order they are worth doing.
-
Content strategy and calendar
A written plan of what gets published, in what order and why, built around the questions your buyers actually ask.
-
Topic and keyword research
Finding out what people search for around your service before we decide what to write about it.
-
Blog and article writing
Full articles researched, drafted and edited, published on a schedule you agree to and we keep.
-
Service and landing page copy
The pages a stranger reads right before they decide whether to contact you, written to answer their actual question.
-
Content refreshes
Rewriting pages that already exist but were written years ago, or never quite explained what you do.
-
Case studies
Honest write-ups of real work you have done, built from the details you can actually supply.
-
Email newsletters
Regular emails to your existing list, written to be read rather than skimmed and deleted.
-
Video and script support
Scripts and outlines for the video content you already plan to make, so the message stays consistent with everything else.
-
Tone of voice guidelines
A short written reference so anyone writing for the business, including us, sounds like the same company.
The questions
What business owners usually ask us about content.
If one of these is on your mind, the answer is usually more straightforward than it feels.
Not sure what your website needs?
Send it over and we'll tell you, honestly, what we'd improve first.
What you end up with
What you are left with when the work is done.
-
A calendar you can actually keep
A realistic publishing schedule agreed in advance, so content stops being the thing that never gets done.
-
Pages that answer the actual question
Copy written for the person reading it, edited by hand, never published as a raw AI draft.
-
Proof of what is working
Reporting on which pieces are being read and which are producing enquiries, so the plan adjusts based on evidence rather than guesswork.
Who this is for
The businesses we do this work for.
If yours is on this list, you will not have to explain how your market works before we can be useful.

How we work
A straightforward way to work together.
You will always know what we are working on, why it comes first and what the last piece of work produced.
-
01
Understand
We learn about your business, your customers, your website and the marketing you are doing today, so that any advice we give is grounded in your situation rather than a template.
-
02
Prioritise
We identify the opportunities that make the most sense for your goals and your budget, and set them out in order, so you can see what we would do first and why.
-
03
Do the Work
We handle the agreed work, whether that is SEO, advertising, content, your website or a combination of them, and keep you updated as it goes rather than only at the end.
-
04
Improve
We measure what the work produced and report it plainly, then refine the plan around it. Your budget and our time go to the channels earning their place.
Getting started
Three ways to begin.
Each of them starts with the same free review, so you can decide with the findings already in front of you.
-
A content audit
A full review of your existing pages and any content you already publish, delivered as a written document with a prioritised list of what to fix or add first.
- A page-by-page review of what exists today
- Topic gaps against what your buyers search for
- A prioritised action list you can act on alone
-
Ongoing content
The audit, then a running calendar of articles, page rewrites and emails, agreed month by month and reported at the end of it. No lock-in period at any point.
- A written calendar agreed in advance
- Every draft researched, written and edited by hand
- Monthly reporting on what was published and what it produced
-
A one-off rewrite
For a homepage, a set of service pages or a single launch piece that needs to be right. A defined piece of work with a fixed scope, quoted in writing before anything begins.
- Full rewrite of the pages you choose
- A short tone of voice reference included
- Fixed scope, agreed in writing up front

Advice
Practical recommendations
We won't recommend something simply because it's another service we can sell. If a smaller piece of work would get you further, that is what we'll suggest.
-
Communication
Clear communication
You should always know what we're working on and why. You'll hear from the people doing the work, in language that doesn't need translating.
-
Budget
Work that fits your budget
Small businesses don't have unlimited marketing budgets. We plan around what you can realistically invest, and say so when something isn't worth the spend yet.
-
Simplicity
No unnecessary complexity
Good marketing can be complicated behind the scenes. It doesn't need to be complicated for you, and we'll keep the reporting and the decisions simple to follow.
In depth
A longer answer, if you want one
Content marketing is the work of planning, writing and publishing the material that explains what you do and why someone should choose you. That covers blog posts and articles, the service pages that describe your offer, case studies, email newsletters, and the scripts behind any video you produce. It is not one piece of writing. It is a plan for which pieces get written, in what order, and why.
Most small business sites are missing this layer entirely. The core pages were written once, years ago, by whoever was available at the time, and nothing has been added since. Or the opposite has happened: a blog exists, posts go out most months, and none of it produces a single enquiry because nobody decided what each piece was for before writing it.
Publishing regularly is not the same as publishing usefully. A calendar built around what your buyers actually ask, before and after they decide to work with someone, tends to outperform a calendar built around what is easy to write this week. We start by mapping the questions a prospect has at each stage, then assign a piece of content to each one, so every article has a job rather than just a deadline.
That also means saying no to topics that would be pleasant to write but do nothing for the business. A content plan with forty ideas and no ranking of them is not a plan. Ours are short, prioritised, and reviewed against what is actually getting read once the first few pieces are live.
We use AI tools in the research and drafting stage, the same as most people writing professionally now do. What we do not do is publish a first draft. Every piece is edited by a person for accuracy, tone and the small specific details that make writing sound like it came from someone who actually knows the business, because unedited AI copy is easy to spot and it does not build trust.
The same applies to your existing pages. A lot of the work on this service is refreshing what is already live: updating a service page that has not changed since it was built, tightening copy that tries to say everything and ends up saying nothing, or rewriting a homepage so a stranger can tell what you do within five seconds of arriving.
Questions
Questions we get asked a lot.
It depends entirely on how much you need written and how often, so we do not publish package prices that would be wrong for most people. Every engagement begins with a free review, after which you receive a written proposal with a fixed scope and a fixed price.
We use it for research and a first pass, the same as most people writing professionally now do. We never publish a raw AI draft. A person edits every piece for accuracy, tone and the specific detail that makes it sound like your business.
Less often than you think, done properly, beats more often done badly. We agree a schedule based on what we can genuinely research and write well, then hold to it, rather than promising a number that slips after the first month.
It should, but that is not the only reason to do it. Content marketing and search engine optimisation overlap heavily and we coordinate the two where you use both, but this service is about the writing and the plan behind it, not the technical side of ranking.
Some, but not much. A short interview at the start and quick fact checks as pieces are drafted is usually enough. We do the research and the writing so it does not fall on you.
Yes. A case study can be honest about what was done and why without inventing metrics. We write from the details you can actually supply and never add figures that are not real.
